SGFD is a strictly property management focused company. Established in 2008 by Greg Finlay and his wife Catherine, it is the direct result of Greg's almost 25 years experience in the industry. Our portfolio includes dozens of large scale / multi-floor projects. We would love to add your building to our list of successful installations. Being so busy, property managers have generally appreciated samples coming to them, and this we are happy to do. Our goal though is to provide not just the right samples, but also the right advice on the best product for each application.

For example, some carpets clean better than others, certain underlays are inappropriate for hallways, and two carpets that look to be very similar are often not the same at all. We would be pleased to explain the reasons why. What this really means is that we try to suggest products that we would want to see in our own property.

Our start in the business began with sales and installation of blinds back in 1988, so the drapes and hard window coverings we provide are a natural complement to the floor coverings in which we specialize. But we also provide additional services beyond floors and windows.

For some projects we have been asked to design a colour board to include paint, tile, carpet, artwork and even furniture. Paint choices have even been made for the outside of the building.

On one project we were asked to help out with a condo lobby wall that was being scratched and chipped by careless furniture moving. we gave that wall a fighting chance by covering it with stack stone. Now it gets some respect!

So if you're not sure we can do something that may be a little out of the ordinary, please ask. If we can't handle it we will find you someone who can. A couple of things to keep in mind; regarding design work, in some cases we can waive the design fee if awarded the rest of the job.

And since we are usually out on the road to see our customers, the office is open by appointment only.
